2024 is the year I finally travelled somewhere I don’t like at all: Boston. What a dumpster fire:

- They all sound like criminals

- Their delicacy is sea bugs on shitty bread

- They all drive like they’re trying to get somebody killed

- Their claim to fame is having big men come from other places to play sports and also a couple centuries ago they didn’t like paying taxes (cool story bro)

- Many become alcoholics in order to develop a halfway tolerable personality

- City motto = “Ask not what you can do for your cousin, but ask what your cousin has done for you lately”

The tunnel under the airport is really fun. Especially when it forks and you get to guess of you are going the right way because the satellite does not work in tunnels.

But...

There are a few cities near Boston that are immaculate!

I worked for Best Buy setting up a store for 3 weeks and the parking lot never had trash. If it did have trash someone, including me would just pick it up.

Amazing and the adjacent businesses and community were all the same.

Ok I will give you that - they do keep the city and surrounding towns clean. That’s more than can be said for a lot of places these days
