Minds integrated Nostr capabilities (as they have other decentralized technologies in the past, like Arewave/Permaweb and Matrix) as extended parts of their core product.
Publicly, this is stated to allow interoperability between federated technologies and parts of the internet. In reality, I think the real intent is to ensure Minds doesn't die out quicker than it is right now.
In fact, I have Minds to thank for my existence here on Nostr (and for my eventual migration way from the fedi). They're literally onboarding their users (at least, those who utilize it) towards a better product than anything they've offered prior.
I like their new integration with the Fediverse

Just saw that and followed Alex on there.
So, two decent extensions instead of one now lol.
We're all in the Fediverse now 😁
