At dinner with some (older) family friends who escaped communism…

“Communism taught us to run away from the devil… now we’ve found the devil here as well.”

If you are a “westerner” and have not studied communism, you may find this statement strange… “how can the USA be anything like communism?” you ask.

But this is what people who escaped communism feel, and I promise you they know better than you what communism feels like; they lived it.

Every State can and will fall eventually.

If something cannot go on forever, then it will stop.

I meant “cannot” as a normative statement as opposed to a technical statement, but I agree that it will *eventually*

The Moral revolution can begin with dismantling the military industrial complex and ending US involvement in genocide, and mass manipulation of other countries. US foreign policy is a blight on any attempt to establish justice in this country.
