Hmm. The transaction got one confirmation but Ride The Lightning says that I don't have any open channels. Neither does any lightning explorers

Ah. I just read that I need at least 3 confirmations for the channel to be active and 6 to be visible

yes, but thats ok - you still got in at 888888, so that still counts!
