The guy fundamentally doesn't understand market dynamics of goods and services. If the government "service" was worthwhile and demanded, businesses would want to rush in and capture the premium. If it isn't worth it, the people don't want it enough.

Exactly. There's a reason why government mandates 🐂💩 like building permits and zoning laws... Nobody wants to do it, but they're required to. The landowner should have the freedom to build whatever they want to live in because they have to live with it.
