If you want to do any kind of OS changes then yeah Pixel will be a load easier. Samsung locks things up just as bad as Apple. There used to be ways to hack to unlock your bootloader with Samsung devices but I wouldn't recommend using those backdoors.

Very interesting. That’s good to know thank you. But that’s can always change imo as google as a corporation isn’t much better then apple in terms of censorship, maybe just waiting for them to catch up?
