After one week of replacing my MacBook Pro with a ThinkPad, I've made the right choice and have absolutely no regrets. I've installed both Fedora and Windows 11 LTSC on it. Somehow, Windows provides a worse experience and is less stable than Linux in 2025 - which is amazing! 🤣

I rather use it, but nice to have.

It doesn't have gestures, but in all other ways it is superior when you get used to it.

I used to do a lot of laptop repairs. Lenovo was always my favorite. Great design if you need to fix something.

X220 was the best laptop ever made.

I play around on a Thinkpad

Fedora is a Red Hat project and made to work very well on thinkpads specifically. It's a good combination.

Fedora FTW 💙💙💙. And I think that the whole ARM revolution will unavoidably bring a lot of Linux desktops with Apple Silicon like battery + performance characteristics. Actually Asahi Linux itself is already doing impressively well with Apple's own hardware. So yes, "Year of the Linux Desktop" meme, take 19 or something. Here we go!
