The only Raspberry Pi I got running 2023 is my Raspberry Pi Zero, version 1, it is my door camera. That little guy use maybe 10x less power than the Raspberry Pi 4.

The SSD that you will add with an USB SSD adapter also use more power than you would think.

When it is not build into the board of the Pi from the factory, things seems to use much more power from my experience. I was shocked at least.

The SSD adapter you buy in the store was not designed for super low power usage like the Raspberry is. They were desgined back when power was cheap and not a concern.

Super low power = build into the design from the start.

I tell you this so you wont be dissapointed when so get the setup and realize that you can't afford to run it.
