Does #Bitcoin solve the problem of greed/avarice ?
In my case, it didn't solve the problem completely, but I do notice that I am more willing to give without expecting anything in return.
What is your thoughts on this matter ?

Yes, but not instantaneously. Over time ones time-preference lengthens, thus reducing greed.
