my favourite turkish artist is Ummet Ozcan with his psy-etno-trance and his crossovers with those cute mongolian girls. er, Altai, russia technically but just down the hill from mongolia:
Ah yes, when talking about this, I always forget about the Turks in Asia. They have a very different culture from Turkey. Music in Turkey is much more European. If you enjoy Greek, Italian, and French music from the 80s and 90s, you can check out Turkish songs from the same period.
