I don't lock my doors.
Even living in town, the dogs would wake me up in the middle of the night if someone walking past the house stopped.
Just the sound of barking makes them reconsider, you don't need a big dog, any little dog that barks works just as well.
But that's for opportunists, drug addicts and whatever.
For proper organised criminals, who might try to kidnap and torture you for your seed phrase, you want Pitbulls or some kind of sight hound or something else that can tear the flesh from their bones.
