In my neighborhood people are allowing Butterfly Milkweed to thrive in their yards. Did you know that butterfly milkweed is the only plant which Monarch Butterfly caterpillars (however you properly describe them) can survive on? Butterfly Milkweed gives them the poison they need to fend off predators. Gardeners everywhere need to plant these unique native plants!
