I've started learning to read sheet music for #guitar.

Why?

2 reasons:

1 Got to the point where I don't care what others think of me or if something isn't considered 'cool'

2 it opens up a world of music, especially jazz. Who would have thought that the system of communicating musical ideas that's been developed for centuries is a good way to get access a vast catalog that was hard to find before?

And, who am I kidding? I currently read tabs, it's not like I'm not reading music. I now realize I was mostly held back by what others would think of me.
