Defeatist mentality is what has caused surveillance capitalism in the first place!
The truth is that most of the people don't give a shit about surveillance. They love lie in their comfort zone
Truth, but many take pills and get drunk to silence the doubts they have.
Ignorance isn't a choice, its a lifelong commitment. Almost a meditative discipline.
I would argue convenience is the biggest factor.
