Why do some wallets offer channels and others do not what’s the difference e tween the two?

The difference is who’s in charge of managing those channels, I think.
With Phoenix I’m in charge, with WoS they’re in charge.
so you have a choice. Want it easy or want is secure?
Wallets like phoenix, breez and blixt are lightning nodes on your phone. You're in a custody of your funds. You have your seed phrase.
WoS is moreless a lightning bank where you have an account.
If WoS one day disappears, you'll get rekt.
Say I make a phoenix/Blixt/breez and something happens to my phone or the app company it self where would I go with my seed phrase to recover my funds/wallet?
