Yesterday we had an intense storm blow through #Wellington, #Aotearoa #NewZealand. We’re used to strong winds, but this was worse than normal, the temp dropped from 20c to 9c in about an hour, there was hail, lightning, rain, and hail.
I was driving when it hit, moving stuff to my new house. Thankfully made it ok.

The house is fine, no damage thankfully. The worst of it was in the wellington suburb of lower hutt on the north side of the bay.

Yeah that was a shock. I was working outside boring holes for fence posts in the hot sun. Then the wind shifted, got really cold, and blew all my trash cans down the road.

Wow - that must have been quite a wind storm. Those are some hefty trees that came down. Nature always wins.
