Howie sounds like he's in a cult. It's one thing to not remember hearing someone say something. It's quite another to vehemently insist that the absence of such a memory necessarily indicates it wasn't said. The end result is a blatant attempt at gas-lighting on behalf of his cult whether he actually remembers hearing it or not.
