I need advice for a node / home server for self-hosting/Bitcoin. I have an Intel NUC x86 computer with 32 GB of ram, 2 TB installed M.2 SSD + one SSD via USB available. If it were you, would you install, run, and manage a:

1) Start9

2) CasaOS

3) Ubuntu Server

4) Umbrel

5) Another OS not Listed

I would probably run Start9 on it because the specs would allow for a nice beefy lightning node while the 2TB might be a bit small for a real home server which hosts all of your data, especially if 1TB is allocated by the node.

That's what I was thinking. Is there a way to combine the total storage space (or at the very least initialize and partition the drive?).

I think Start9 will do that for you at the first install, but don't quote me on it. It has been a while since I played with it.

Will need to do a deep dive into Start9 then.
