they are a business so they'll support what their customers are demanding. the fact is that shitcoins and WalletConnect (not NWC) have orders of magnitude more users than Bitcoin, Lightning and NWC; we should acknowledge that and ask ourselves: why?
Probably because they have the same rotten minds soiled by pump and dump VC scams. 🤷♂️
same reason for which NWC is becoming the de facto method to connect wallet apps to lightning (mostly) wallet servers
which is kinda cool tho because NWC uses nostr relays as rendezvous, critical because of the impossibility of getting inbound routed connections to most client devices
