My wife and our dog walked into our kitchen/dining room at the same time while I was sitting at the table on my laptop. My wife walked towards the kitchen counter putting away some crackers the kids were chewing on last night and the dog ran to me with a slipper.

Me: “Hi baby, how are you today”

My wife: “Hi honey, I am good. Wait were you talking to me or the dog”?

Me: Ummm, Ummm, yeah I was talking to the dog!
