An American sentry guarding the entrance of BBB to prevent anymore Gls from drinking beer. The advance into Manila was temporarily delayed when the first wave of 37 infanty division soldiers came across the brewery with its vats of ice cold beer.

Balintawak beer brewery was a Japanese owned company that was replaced San Miguel Brewery during WW11. They used this place to brew Asahi beer .

After the war. The Balintawak beer brewery was liberated from the Japanese and San Miguel Brewery took over again.
