So what’s the easiest plug and play custodial LN wallet for new iOS users?

Muun. No confusion with any other currencies. Just a false overall impression that it is non-custodial. So you have to explain that part to the user yourself. But the easiest - definitely.

To recieve zaps - no. I use wallet of satoshi for that. Sending zaps - yes, any wallet custodial or not works for me. But for receivng zaps perhaps Blink is better. It is also bood but a bit confusing with stablesats for beginners.
