This is the only book inscription I have 🤔 I can’t seem to find another one. That’s a bummer. I’m going to have to rectify this. Gonna leave messages in my favourite books for my future kids. I hope I have kids one day, but if not I’ll give them to my nieces and nephews - when they’re old enough to appreciate the messages, of course.

I like this book inscription because I ended up working for Bloomsbury yeaaaars later. Felt like fate when I saw the same copy on a display in the office lobby on my first day - right after tripping over a giant Harry Potter book. Graceful as always.

It’s like what Steve Jobs said about connecting the dots only when you look back. Sure, life can look like a Jackson Pollock painting when you look ahead, but it will all make sense one day. Just got to trust the process and keep moving forward. That’s my hope, anyway.
