The average cost of living in 1917 was $4000 per year, adjusted for inflation that same $4000 a year would have to be $95,000 a year to be in the same situation today as they was in during 1913.

Sorry it was a typo i ment the average wage was $4,000 a year in 1913 but today in order to live the same lifestye and afford the same things you would need to earn an average of $95,000 😦
