Firstly, Id like to show some gratitude towards a few fellow bitcoiners here on Nostr that really continue to inspire me. 🍻

Today I gave up a 17year account on Reddit in celebratory sacrifice. I will no longer post on reddit again.

So Im old enough to remember when “slashdot effect” was a thing and thinking Digg was going to be what reddit became…

Digg? Hell, I remember the old usenet boards, chat rooms on Excite.com, and using ICQ, all way before any other social media.

Woah, heydays of the decentralized internet

I have faint memories of these things. Was very young

But these were the days of a truly decentralized Internet before centralisation and self-broadcasting took over
