The wife and I were excited to see the Bitcoin Center on #Roatan operated by #AmityAge. They claim their mission is to accelerate bitcoinization. Comrades, please hear my tender words… it’s bullshit.

On two separate occasions we tried to access the bitcoin center over the last few days and were denied by armed security at the gate house. One guard told me it was closed and the other said by appointment only. In talking with the locals and asking them about the center in the days leading up to our attempts to enter -100% of those we spoke with had no idea it even existed.

The limited access to the bitcoin center is antithetical to the ideals many bitcoiners share and if they are selling to teach the island of the power of bitcoin, they are failing.

I have a feeling #AmityAge will be another failed con in the years to come. Don’t waste your time or money comrades.
