I am really thinking about closing my lightning node.

Force closing channels is a real show stopper

I know the theory behind it.

This is the end of lightning imho.

I cannot be solved.

Always a loss

No joke

I have no internet outages. All of my settings are to the maximum delay of forcxe close.

I think it is the Tor network.

It is killing lightning

Man we have a channel together, i will not force you. It’s about people running nodes. Have the same experience like you. Some my channels were forced closed remotely without reason. But more of them are holding good as partners are good. It’s like real life. Good people and assholes. Bitcoin maxis and jpegs assholes… there will always be a fight with people’s stupidity, naivety and greediness. 👀 still Lightning is a good thing and can serve you.

Yes I know man. I was a little angry atm of writting. I am not closing my lightning node. But I refuse to open those channels which have forced closed. I wonder how much channels remain open on my channel if I will never open any channel again which has forced closed. Will it stop force closing till all the channels are forced closed? That is my experiment for now. Yes lightning is too precious for me also but I am dissapointed in the force closing which occur way too often. All the best! Thanks for your reply btw!

One more note if the partner node is way too long offline (2 weeks), that might be the reason for force close. I did it a few times…
