Ask someone on the street if they would rather have 40,000 sats or $10 next week, and they will likely say $10. Ask them if they want to receive 40,000 sats or $10 in exactly 3 years, and they are easily 10x more likely to take the sats. Decisions like this exist at every turn, and people are forced into dollars because the tools to do otherwise do not yet exist!

These tools can and will be built. The transition will be one of SaaS tools for contracts to support ever shifting fractional denomination in hard assets, which is to say, business will be done with composite (index) currencies before they are fully bitcoin. There will be the maximal hardness that volatility allows.
