I remember our last (probably not the last) conversation well 🙃 Let me repeat myself:

1 BTC = 1 BTC. #Bitcoin is the yardstick by which the whole world can be measured over time. #USD has no fixed value, so it is not suitable as a yardstick. Many things will rise against USD (salary, cost of living, taxes, art), & hopefully XMR 🤗 , HARDLY anything compared to #BTC. Especially over time.

Thanks for your time. Ok fair enough. The main source of our disagreement is NOT bitcoin rising.

It's that I disagree with blockstream paying out the devs to keep bitcoin's layer 1 blocksize small, forcing complex technical knowledge to use bitcoin for cash.

In fact, by bitcoin rising, it makes it more expensive to open a lightning channel, which makes it harder to use as cash. Can you dispute this?
