I purchased an eSim from nostr:npub19fyrjpsq87r62086pna2u69x39mtxryl5y44vnegucyrd3lhchjsqxd5hk and it worked great, just as it has in the past. Great support responses on #nostr from the dev when I had a hiccup (at 3am no less).

Sipping minimal data in Latin America on #grapheneOS and open source maps like Magic Earth is the private, permissionless internet at its best.

Now, to just convince these Chilangos to start taking sats 🇲🇽🤣

Never used magic earth, better than osmand+?

Never used Osmand+ but I haven't had good luck with these open source maps. Magic earth isn't perfect but strikes a good balance. Offline maps, decent pedestrian nagivation, good battery life

The only downside of osmand+ is calculating long distances like +500km on local roads. But great to pedestrian navigation and so many features. Even for boat navigation.
