Polyrhythm is the simultaneous use of two or more rhythms.

Tapping exercises with the metronome are important to master the most basic of polyrhythms.

And it's something that requires huge coordination.

This is quite "easy" to learn once you get hang of triolas (or later pentatolas or however is it in english, 5 beats fit in 4, that's pretty useless and difficult trick to learn). I find worse drawing two different objects, like square and triangle or at least a simple line and a circle still over and over, conductors/choirmasters should master that. It's basically the same exercise, drawing the rhythm instead of beating it out. I'm incapable🥲 #musicstr
