It works on getalby.com, just remember to put there your e-mail address (not lightning address) and to confirm it.

Do you get some warning window when trying to change?

No warnings. Just the old email kept popping back. Tried a few browser, Tor, vpn on and off.

Tried again now with mobile and it worked. It must be me getting old.
