So I’m thinking of buying a retreat center in the redwoods of Northern California that supports about 50 people in a rustic setting.

It’s pretty badass. 8 cabins, riverside, large hot tub, 3 saunas, swimming pond on about +200 acres. It’s expensive and would take a few years to get cashflow positive, but I could do it.

I think it would be a great spot to do various workshops on self-sovereignty, and get brilliant people together to teach, learn, and collaborate together. Only problem is I have no fucking clue what I am doing or how to run something like this. I feel confident I could figure it out, I just know it’ll be a lot of work, administration, and management the first several years.

But with that being said, I guess get busy living or get busy dying.

Nobody has a perfect roadmap in life, we learn as we go. You’ll figure it out.

I say if you’re thinking about it, just do it if the opportunity is there.

A couple years to start generating positive cash flow isn’t bad at all.
