It wasn’t till today when I first started using Nostr via a personal server that I really understood just how much Nostr is to communications what Bitcoin is to money. It also puts a fine point on the need to purple pill people for the sake of adoption. It seems counterintuitive, but for anyone (unlike myself) that does have decent reach on Twitter, abandoning Twitter doesn’t entirely make sense. It seems that moving a good chunk of Bitcoin Twitter to Nostr would simply have the net effect of reducing the size of the “Bitcoin echo chamber” and reduce the opportunities to expose no-coiners to both amazing protocols.
