I’ve done the same switched from Wos to alby, once and a while a zap still hits Wos ( caching, clients implementation of lud-16,… could be allot of things )
My suggestion is keep both custodial wallets and find a self hosted solution long term 🔥🤘
I’ve heard that a few times now. But I don’t think I’m the right guy to have my own lightning node. I’ve been thinking about it tho, but I don’t think I need it tbh… not sure
Same, we are all kinda in the same boat. If you do allot of commerce it makes more sense to run a node. Or once #mutiny wallet is fully operational that might be a solution for us plebs. Else move large funds into Coldstorage and hope that the custodians keep things running 🏃♀️
I changed from WoS to Alby a few months back and encountered the same issue .. I was told it was because certain relays had not updated to the latest data and so older versions of your profile (including lightning addresses) we're still in use.
The best thing to do is keep both wallets functioning and eventually you'll find that one will receive very little, if anything at all.
