Our only regret was having to separate it from the frame it was in because we traveled commercial and had to roll it up, the piece traveled another week and half with us back in Quito and just before left we visited a museum where part of the museum was the home of Guayasamin, an artist that has added more inspiration and fuel to my creative fire. The piece I posted was displayed with about 5 others the artist drew all with pen and ink , we had a local guy frame it back in Texas and it hangs right in our kitchen/living area ,, I get lost in it a a lot especially during my first cup of Joe when I’m kicking off my #coffeechain
Someone can translate this better than me, but I think the gist of this gave me some good chills during our tour. “Painting is a form of prayer and at the same time screaming.. and also the highest consequence of love and loneliness”
