That's true and the higher you go up the food chain the more K selected species you'll find.

I just figured the mnemonic of relating r with "hard r" might help people remember which one was which a little easier haha.

This is why r/k has been outmoded as analysis and relegated to 2014-16 thought, whites had massive families in the 1800s, yet they have not evolved. Environmental factors over genetics possess more explanatory power here.
