What kind of ram and storage is needed for running a relay?
They are super lightweight. Afaik a simple digital ocean droplet will be enough. Obviously, if it gets super popular, you’ll need to pay the cloud server provider according to the traffic volumes. Popular relays like damus cost triple digits to run.
Interesting, thanks. I have some spare bare metal server space in a rack running bitcoin node and some other dev VMs, was thinking about adding a nostr relay.
