Would you post a question to our community to see if there is someone who is willing to dig around in the apple guidelines to find a way to still have zaps but comply with guidelines?

Maybe the zapping button takes you to a web-frontend in Safari where the actual zapping takes place? (like when you zap when using iris.to? ) Just a thought...

This is already how it works on the app store. Zapping happens outside the app.
