I was following a few people and their startup journey before going quiet on Twitter.
Yesterday I checked to see what they were up to and noticed they are already working on something new. And that new thing seems to be doing better than the previous.
Sometimes you just gotta keep taking swings.

Yes. Nintendo went from card maker, to ramen manufacture, 'love hotel' taxi service, vacuum cleaner, to colour tv games, arcades and its Mario Bros to Game Boy and Nintendo Switch. Toyota started with sewing machines. Opel Started with sewing machines too then bicycles, and then cars. Twitter started as podcast. Ig starts as foursq or something like that. play doh started as some cleaning company. square started as a pos system before stepping into digital wallet, bitcoin, globalising finance, mining etc
Those that did not pivot when they should have - blockbuster, tower records, kodak, polaroid, motorola, nokia...i'm sure the list is long
