A lot of my non-bitcoiner friends don’t have anything against Bitcoin per se, but they shitcoin because they want to get rich quick and see Bitcoin as too slow a path. But it’s sad because they end up just gambling and wind up with nothing in the end. There’s a real sense of desperation among millennials who believe they’ll never catch up, which mindset is behind a lot of the degen gambling out there.
