We don't have a right to defend ourselves if defending ourselves leads to lawsuits and jail/prison time. If I shoot someone for entering my home unwelcomed, I didn't commit a crime, I defended myself and my property. But I would almost certainly get jail time. It's like putting a gun to my head and saying your choice but either give me your money or I'm going to shoot you, I don't really have a choice. The aggressor is the one entering a home they aren't welcomed in, why does the defender get punished?

For clarity I'm speaking of in the US, some states are better about this than others but regardless there is a hassle and lots of crap you have to go through just for defending yourself.

Interesting. So Americans dont have the right to defend themselves as much as they like to pretend. Way better than Canada I admit. But not perfect!

You guys can syrup and feather your little dictator man for me please šŸ˜‚
