I grew up in Montgomery, Alabama. School taught us about heroes: Rosa Parks, Martin Luther King Jr, the Tuskegee Airmen, George Washington Carver, and many others who lived in our state and changed history through their perseverance.

We were also taught about villains, the constant effort to maintain a society built on injustice where only one kind of people can be lifted up by the effort of all others.

Now, helped by school vouchers and "parental choice", the villains can erase this history.

I am not familiar with the particular issue youre referring to, but that last sentence sounds like a statement against the freedom to chose whats best for yourself.

Would it be similar to argue for everyone being forced to run a government approved version of Windows instead of some alternative micro kernel os that lets you access banned websites and protocols?
