#grownostr #gardening #mulberry these mulberry cuttings are growing in damp soil with plastic covering. Once the leaves come out, remove plastic. I left a little too long and some have fungus. Going to try this with blackberry next.

Do you keep them outdoors, uncovered until time for planting in the ground?
Yes, as long as they won’t go below freezing I’ll leave them out. Our temperatures are about 50-75 over in Houston.
Awesome, I want to start learning to do cuttings. We're not far from you, in La Grange.
Mulberry, elderberry are some of the easiest. I’ve done a few methods- a mister setup is the best. It mists the plants every 10 minutes, bed is just sand and perlite.
Let me invite if you have any questions
Thank you! I'm intrigued by propagation, but i dont have any secial equipment. So I just want to try the simplest method, maybe like your picture of the mulberry cuttings. I do have some fruiting mulberries to try, and i also want to try with yaupon holly.
Yes, super easy with some plants.
