Is Google just phoning it in with new Pixel hardware?

Comparing Pixel 8 Pro to 10 Pro specs and most of them are the same, some like display and battery are actually a step backward...

The only obvious improvement is the CPU which I don't really care about. Not compelling to upgrade!

I gave a friend who is going on a trip some cash to buy me a new Pixel 9 Pro. Guess I won't feel bad when the new 10 comes out then.
