This is all old testament. Read the history and words of Jesus. He recast everything into a holistic renewal of love, kindness, and positive-sum giving nature. Try to clean your mind of the Christian religion and focus on Jesus himself. Do it with a skeptical eye. Don't be afraid to challenge your faith in hopelessness.
