I really believe for lightning to go full next level in terms of adoption we need:

Square to go full innovators dilemma and cannibalize their credit card revenue with the superior tech of lightning

Where this starts and adds the most value is stables on lightning.

Having PoS devices that will accept lightning usdt, normal btc, and cc cards

This would be enormous for people in the global south
