I assume a vast majority of people here are smarter than me and have more corn than me, but idgaf. That does not matter

When i look back on my journey from this point in time, i know i’ve come a looong fucking way since #NormieLand. I continue to learn at my own pace and stack as many cold, hard sats as i can. It is a marathon on both fronts, not a sprint

Am i retarded? Yes. Am i stupid? Maybe. Do i value my future? Fuck yeah i do. And so i use cold storage, i make backups, i run my own node to constantly validate the #timechain and enforcing the open rules, i have some lightning channels, i make frens who i have fun with and develop trust and cherish, even if we may never meat. I fuck around and i find out how this all works and what it all means, even if it’s just one baby step at a time. The more i learn the more see that there’s way more stuff i don’t know. It’s a fun and healthy challenge that never ends

I wish i decided on this path immediately upon my first touch with #Bitcoin but instead i waited for YEARS, thinking everything was more or less fine. I think all of us did some version of this

WELP, turns out everything is not fine, the money is broken, and that breaks society… slowly and painfully. For decades we’ve desperately needed a better, stronger foundation yet somehow most people had (and continue to have) not the slightest clue.

Whether we really deserved it or not idk, but Bitcoin is here and it works and no cantillionaire psychopath or politician or government can shut it down, so this is the way to go if you ask me
