Had the same experience when suggesting Nostr at a local Bitcoin meetup, since they're all on Telegram.

Even the OG noderunners were like, Nah, too much simping, too much dullness, too much boring, repetitive memes.

Well, we can only try to change that and ask again, later. 🤷‍♀️

There's no shadowbanning on Telegram. They just throw you out of the chat.
