I don’t know how to use Monero. Does it work like Bitcoin or is it more like Lightning?
It's a Blockchain, so more like Bitcoin on chain than lightning. Compared to on chain Bitcoin it's more private, less secure, and less scarce. It's easier to be private on Monero than Lightning, but not inherently always more private
Does it have its own “mempool.space” that I can look at?
No idea. Probably? Don't waste my time with it. Don't agree with the design philosophy.
